Have you been wondering about what cryptocurrencies mean for money and is purpose?
Join us on March 2nd at the University Club as Dr. Ooonagh McDonald, CBE explores the threats and opportunities of digital currencies and their potential to change the way that global finance works.
Dr. McDonald will discuss the following from her recently published book, Cryptocurrencies: Money, Trust and Regulation:
- Will Bitcoin ever replace fiat currency?
- Are existing regulatoray frameworks enough?
- What is motivating central bank experiments with digital currencies?
- What will ultimately protect commerical banks from digital currency threats?
