About the event

Join Lee Allen and Sean Denniston for an evening with Michael Pocalyko, CEO of SI and bestselling author of The Navigator.

In this talk, Pocalyko argues that the claim that the Earl of Oxford secretly wrote Shakespeare's plays is a literary fraud operating on the same psychological mechanisms as financial scams. Drawing on decades of investigative work in financial fraud and white-collar crime, he identifies fifteen characteristics common to fraud and explores what they reveal about the art of persuasion.

Refreshments will be served.

Free to attend. Space is limited to 40 guests. RSVP by Wednesday, May 14.

This event is organized by OUSDC members Lee Allen (Corpus Christi) and Sean Denniston (University College) and is not an official OUSDC event. If you have any questions, please contact the organizers directly: Sean Denniston at scdenniston@yahoo.com
